Beloved French teacher, Harold E. Skinner’s,  102nd birthday!

Harold Skinner’s 102nd birthday!

On March 18th we celebrated Harold Skinner’s 102nd birthday! He was our beloved French teacher at LC, and is still now and forever, one of the most incredible humans we have ever known. What a guy! A true Renaissance man. He can do anything!
Present at the birthday party were: Harold Skinner, Carol Murphy, Gale Parrish and Ken Hathaway., Helen Barany, Nan Comeaux, Ken and Phyllis (Tamura) Hathaway and Harold’s oldest daughter, Danielle.
We had croissant sandwiches we drank White and Port wines, we had chocolate cake, and we laughed and we sang , “Je Ne Regrette Rien” (Edith Piaf). That is Harold’s song for his life; he is truly a man who has gone through life, been through it all, thoroughly engaged in everything, and regrets nothing! Truly, WHAT A GUY!
