Fall (OWEN), Janet R. "Jann"
(Age 65) Passed away April 12, 2012. She was born Feb. 20, 1947 in Spokane to Albert Ray and Ellen (Dry) Fall. She loved Spokane and lived here her entire life. After graduating from Lewis & Clark High School, she received her beautician's license and worked at Sherry's. She met and married Carl Owen in 1968, they remained together for 24 years. She worked in the beauty supply industry for 20+ years as a sales representative and enjoyed interacting with people she met. She went back to school to get her associates degree in liberal arts and interior design and participated in DECA and enjoyed competing and traveling. Her hobbies included shopping, crafts, decorating and being social. She particularly loved to decorate and create crafts for Christmas, gifting many of her crafts to friends and family. She participated in the Presbyterian community in Spokane throughout her life. She is survived by her sons Jeffrey Scott Owen, wife Jan Nuxoll Owen, grandson Nathan Owen and granddaughter Emma Owen; Brent David Owen, wife Christy Owen, grandson Tyler Castleberry, granddaughter McKayla Owen and brother Steve Fall all of Spokane. Visitation Monday Noon to 8PM at Heritage and a private graveside service will precede a Memorial Service at 2PM Tuesday April 17th at Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church, 4102 S. Crestline Spokane 99203. Memorial contributions may be made to the church Music Fund or the American Diabetes Assoc. (www.diabetes.org). |
